The Vase:
Sharing something, with others, from one’s own garden can be extremely gratifying. Be it a birthday, dinner gathering, or just because, a simple arrangement (or offspring of a favorite plant) can truly show thought and caring towards the recipient.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoy entertaining. While a bottle of wine is always appreciated it is usually a faint memory in short time. Bring us a plant, especially perennial and we remember the guest and occasion for many years.

GOOD SCENTS ARRANGING include fresh herbs that can be dried or enjoyed fresh in cooking.

HELP PREVENT FUTURE UNDESIRABLES pick flowers before they go to seed and use in arrangements. Stems with interesting seeds or berries make a striking bouquet.

LESS IS MORE while a giant vase of flora can be dramatic and impressive, I personally prefer only a few stems of the feature plants so that each may be appreciated for its own natural beauty.

TAKE NOTE of which stems last the longest in your arrangements. The simple and beautiful blue blossoms of these Day Flowers tend to grow in prolific bunches and may to last 4 weeks or more as a feature or filler additions to a vase. Sometimes as an added bonus some stems will form roots. A gift that keeps on giving
